The full-time Master of Science in Information Systems format is designed to be completed in 18-24* months, and is a combination of rigorous coursework and experiential learning enhanced by state-of-the-art technology. A dynamic campus environment, high-tech classroom facilities, online information databases, the Frear Technology Center, and expert faculty members provide students with an enriching and unique learning experience.

MSIS students have the opportunity to work with the professional faculty on a one-on-one basis due to an average class-size of less than 25 students. As a result, students frequently develop strong mentoring relationships with faculty members. Since the MSIS program at HPU attracts Hawaii’s leading professionals, participants are able to build a life-long network of business contacts, thus gaining an enormous career advantage in today’s competitive marketplace.

The 36-credit program provides the option to take four elective courses that match your individual interests, or MSIS candidates may pursue concentrations in Knowledge Management, Software Engineering, and Telecommunications Security. Students may also choose to compliment their MSIS degree with a professional certificate in areas such as Electronic Commerce, Organizational Change, among others.
