In Fall 2009 I transferred from Denmark to Hawai'i Pacific University to major in Travel Industry Management. It was a long way to travel to finish my undergraduate degree, but I wanted to learn about the industry in a new environment. I thought that HPU sounded promising and I have not been let down so far.

The professors at HPU are devoted, hard-working people who want to share their knowledge with their students. Also, the guest speakers who are invited to class are inspiring and want to share everything they know with you.

One of the great things about HPU is that they give the TIM students the opportunity to get hands-on work experience through internships and one-day shadowing, and I truly believe that this makes a student more prepared for a future job in the industry.
